Spot American flags in the wild. Call out improper displays. Earn points. Learn the law. A game for vexillophiles and patriots alike.

Flag Code Violation!™ is a game. It is meant to be fun for all ages, stimulating discussion among its participants.
This game focuses on the U.S. Flag Code and its application to the world around us. Readers will learn proper U.S. flag etiquette while engaging in competition driven dialogue (often boisterous) among companions.
While you are enjoying the game, and the comradery of your fellow vexillophiles,* you will be simultaneously developing and honing your critical thinking skills. This will occur through interpreting the vagaries (and frequent inconsistencies) of the law and its progeny precedent, while defending your assertions of “Flag Code Violation!,™” and refuting the claims of your competitors.
This game has been field tested through over a decade of play by the author’s family during road trip vacations, shopping errands, parades, sporting events, travel and beyond.
It is easy to learn, challenging to master, and addictive to a fault.
* A flag hobbyist and admirer.
In the spirit of fun, recognition for your achievement, and mastery of the game, and for the archaeology of posterity, a section has been provided at the end of this book to memorialize the Record of Renown™ for each Prized Patriot™ winner of each gaming session.
The author assumes that this book will be enshrined in a place of prominence and reverence, being safeguarded with family Bibles and other important records, but has been produced in a size that may fit in your vehicle’s glove box for convenience of access, should a game of Flag Code Violation!™ spontaneously erupt on a road trip or on the way to the store.
Are you looking for the perfect gift for a discerning person? For the person (who until now) thought they had everything they needed? For a person with that certain je ne sais quoi?
Look no further!
Not only will this book make you a Prized Patriot™, buying it for someone else will imbue you with “Best Gifter” status!
